    Oblications…

    A former colleague, and generally brilliant human being, coined the term “oblication – when you are obliged to take your vacation in your family’s home-town to see relatives, on your holiday.” We do it because we’re getting older, kids, and well … it’s the “right thing to do”…. Sort of like when my dad didn’t give me a curfew and told me that i knew what time I should be home…. The pressure! (Especially that ONE time I came in at 4am because we had HONESTLY fallen asleep. If I was going to dumb things, I could totally get those done by 11pm.). We go “home” because it’s the right…
